Best Indian eatery!! Dined in over the weekend. All food tasted superb! It was great that all food, salad and sauces were topped up frequently. Staff, atmosphere, deco, price all brilliant. Keep it that way! I guess the challenge is to maintain this level. Thank you all at Balti Cottage. Looking forward to next visit

We come here several times a month which says it all really we love it the food is excellent would tend to agree you can have better Indian meals if you want to pay double the money and the restaurant is a bit dated but for the price you pay overall a very enjoyable cheap evening out with excellent service would highly recommend this place

Went hear yesterday night with my family after reading mixed reviews thought i try for myself. Was very surprised buy the choice of food available at the buffet. Very nice food and friendly staff. Will definitely be going back! Thanks for making us feel welcome and providing excellent service

We tried your food for the first time last night and it was lovely. Thank you. We ordered on-line and it arrived on time (the delivery man was called Islam I think...) ... we look forward to trying different dishes soon. Well worth the money and great taste!

Had a lovely meal last night with friends, food was lovely and well cooked, staff were very friendly and helpful and a lovely atmosphere, I will definitely be going back!

I'd heard of Balti Cottage through friends so I thought what better occassion than Mothers day to bring my wife and girls here.. I booked a table online for 4 at 4pm and was well impressed to get a such a prompt confirmation e-mail back. We arrived at 4.30 due to traffic. On entering Balti Cottage I felt a warm and friendly ambiance.. which was the first box ticked.. The waiters were all really friendly, showed us to our table and took our drinks order.. At the food area everything was clearly labeled and kept clean. I noticed the staff ensured health and safety was taken seriously as they consistently swept up any food items that had made their way off the plates and onto the floor... I can't fault the food at all; its excellent value for money and most importantly taste great!!! I'm already spreading the word about this lovely place and definitely look forward to my next visit... Thank you to everyone at Balti House for making us feel so welcome.. I Highly recommended this establishment...

I came across Balti Cottage through another website and immediately fell in love with the Service and Food!! Whenever there has been a problem, they have offered Solutions - I cannot get enough of their wonderful stuff!!

Lovely people to serve you, excellent food (the staff watch like hawks to see that all dishes are filled with fresh food at all times. My wife is what you might call a difficult customer, allergic to a lot of things, including tomatoes, and a vegetarian to boot. We explained and the cook came up with a really delicious dish which we all thought was great. Over a four-day stay in sunny Dagenham we paid three visits because we can no longer imagine any other restaurant, Indian or otherwise, to touch this one (it's also nicely decorated and has a warm, inviting atmosphere). You lucky people living in Dagenham!

Very impressed to say the least. We are very well travelled restaurant clientele to the point that they call me the food critic of Rainham. This is probably one of the best value for money places around. 2 bottles of proper Blossom hill and a starter and main meal complimentary chocolates and a Bailey's each for under £32 Waiters were exceptional this makes the cheap cafes look expensive I always say cheap is normally expensive but I am WRONG on this one.

Been to The Balti Cottage on several occasions for the buffet, and the food is very nice. I like spicy food, but I seem to have the habit of eating their chicken Madras over all of the other curries on offer... None of the food I've eaten so far has been fatty or undercooked; just right. The staff are highly efficient and they work well together, making me feel a lot more welcome. It has a great atmosphere, and is never too loud, the restaurant can get slightly busy - but I don't blame the people that crowd it - their food is irresistible. The price is just right for what is available to you at the buffet, albeit the drinks being slightly overpriced. I am a regular here and I will continue to be, if I were to give stars out of five, The Balti Cottage would pass with flying colours and score full marks.

i travel all the way from ilford at least twice a month to eat at the cottage. i must say the food is tasty not chilli hot as other restaurant. Price is good and above all the staff treat you with respect. only complain every time have the buffet food is always the same no rotation that why i dont come more often otherwise i will get bore d with the food.

Been using this resturant about once a fortnight for 6 or 7 years now and have always had good food and good service. Would recommend it to anyone.

we came to the cottage saturday 23/03/13. with friends that travelled up from kent and as usual the staff made us welcome. the food is yummy and the beer is cold what more can a fella want lol why i like the cottage is the waiter's they do not hurry you to make up your mind you are treated with respect . and never rushed canr wait to come back in a couple of weeks with more friends travelling from further afield A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF AT THE BALTI COTTAGE YOU GUY'S DO A FANTASTIC JOB see you soon peter worrall

the best indian ive had its perfect for me as i come home from work on a friday night and we go out for a buffet. service is great too.:)
